Club Information
The Kiwanis Club of Greenwood, Indiana, is one of more
than 8,200 Kiwanis clubs in some 90 countries. These clubs make a mark
on society by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling
their resources to address local and worldwide issues. As the world's
leading community-service organization, Kiwanis' strength is that it is
both international and local. Collectively, Kiwanis clubs, like ours,
respond to global needs as well as local needs.
Building Leaders
Our Club plays a special role in developing future generations of
leaders by participating in programs that teach community service and
leadership skills. Our club currently sponsors three Key Clubs, and one
Aktion and K-Kids club.
Key Club-the oldest and
largest service program for high school students. The club supports
Greenwood and Center Grove High Schools
Aktion Club- a
community service group for adult citizens who live with a disability.
We help provide these adults and opportunity to develop initiative and
leadership skills.
K-Kids- a
student lead community service organization that operates under school
regulations. This club is centered around elementary age children.
