HOW WE GOT HERE

Club InformationThe Kiwanis Club of Greenwood, Indiana, is one of more
than 8,200 Kiwanis clubs in some 90 countries. These clubs make a mark
on society by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling
their resources to address local and worldwide issues. As the world's
leading community-service organization, Kiwanis' strength is that it is
both international and local. Collectively, Kiwanis clubs, like ours,
respond to global needs as well as local needs. Building LeadersOur Club plays a special role in developing future generations of leaders by participating in programs that teach community service and leadership skills. Our club currently sponsors three Key Clubs, and one Aktion and K-Kids club.Key Club-the oldest and largest service program for high school students. The club supports Greenwood and Center Grove High Schools Aktion Club- a community service group for adult citizens who live with a disability. We help provide these adults and opportunity to develop initiative and leadership skills. K-Kids- a student lead community service organization that operates under school regulations. This club is centered around elementary age children.
